These terms govern your use of QuizKit, an app by Gentle Motion ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the app, you agree to these terms.
What QuizKit Does
QuizKit is a quiz authoring and grading tool for teachers. It helps you:
- Generate multiple-choice quiz questions from textbook pages or documents using AI
- Edit and customize the generated questions
- Print shuffled quiz variants with scannable answer sheets
- Scan and auto-grade completed answer sheets on your device
Account Required
QuizKit requires you to sign in with a Google account so your quizzes can be associated with you. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
AI-Generated Content
QuizKit uses artificial intelligence to generate quiz questions from the content you provide. While we work hard to make the generation as accurate and helpful as possible:
- AI-generated questions may contain errors, inaccuracies, or misinterpretations of the source material
- You are responsible for reviewing all generated questions before using them with students
- QuizKit is a starting point for quiz creation, not a replacement for teacher judgment
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use QuizKit to:
- Submit content you do not have the right to use
- Generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload our backend services
Grading Accuracy
QuizKit grades answer sheets automatically using on-device image processing. While we strive for high accuracy, scanning results can be affected by lighting, paper condition, ink marks, and image quality. You are responsible for reviewing results before using them for grading decisions.
Purchases
Any purchases are handled entirely by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, subject to their refund policies. We do not collect or store payment information.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gentle Motion shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of QuizKit, including but not limited to errors in AI-generated questions, grading inaccuracies, or decisions made based on the app's output.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
